It is called romantic for a reason, and you are also on vacation for a reason. So take the time, take in the view, and enjoy the get-away .

But with quite a lot of areas to stop by, here are the ones that you should really definitely not skip.

If you want to get some fine wine, and some fine dining, Wrzburg is definitely the place to stop over and relax. What else would you expect since it is located right in the Franken region which is famous for their wine. With wine comes the vineyards, and if you are there at the right time, you may even join in on a wine festival of sorts. But while you are there, be sure to make your way to the Residence Palace which is certainly a highlight of the area.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber

If you want to see what Germany was like way back in the Medieval age, then you should really positively walk down the streets of this spot. Out of all the medieval towns in Germany, this is positively the one that is best preserved. In English, red fortress about the Tauber, this town will actually give you a glimpse into their rich past.

Castle Hotel Colmberg

The Castle Hotel Colmberg is the ideal place to get some shut eye. Just imagine, you will in fact get a chance to stay in a real castle that is about 1000 years old. How is that to give you the real German experience? This is one spectacular area that you will positively remember for a lifetime. However, do expect to walk some stairs- just like in a real castle, no elevators here.

Nearing the Bavarian Alps you will in fact find one of the top ten sites in all of Germany- Neuschwanstein. However, this castle does not give you the chance to check in for the night. You will, however, may take the guided tour through the spot which takes about 30 minutes.
